JUSTINA ELIAS is the author of the prose poem series “To Do,” nominated for a 2022 Canadian National Magazine Award, and “Hard Cut,” a Notable Essay in Best American Sports Writing 2020. Her fiction and nonfiction have appeared in The Malahat Review, Room, Prairie Fire, and elsewhere. Twice nominated for the CBC Short Story Prize, she holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The University of Guelph and spent nine years as a bookseller on Canada’s west coast. She is currently working on a novel.
